The Next Step, J.P. I was raised in the local church, and I saw the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) as a natural step in my life. I remember at a young age talking to my mom about general plans for life: two years of junior high school, four years of high school, four years of college, etc. . . . And my mom said, And then two years in the FTT. From that point on, my goal to attend the FTTA was definite. I went to my first live training at age 13, and almost every one after that, and each time I was just counting down the years that it would be before I was really there. This may seem peculiar in the eyes of the world, but other people live their whole life with a view to doing something at a certain time, like joining the military, becoming a doctor, etc. This goal governs their living. Then when they're there, their experience is more enhanced and more enriched. With the goal of one day giving myself to the Lord for two years to be trained to meet His goal, the spontaneous issues became a consecration of my entire being to the Lord in preparation. Then when I came to the FTT my living became even more consecrated and rich. Main | History | Testimonies | Links Copyright © 2002. Christian Websites. All Rights Reserved |
